The vessel surfs the sea smoothly. The effect is greatly apparent when the propeller is stopped and cutting through the waves with momentum. The speed loss is low and the stopping distance (track reach) is much higher than recorded during initial sea trails.

PROJECT DETAILS
When the vessel docked, fouling issue was found. Slime and heavy growth of barnacles were observed on almost entire areas of the flat bottom and the vertical bottom. During berthing, we used higher stern power to apply A-LF-Sea compared to previously applied coating.
In addition to the fouling issue, scattered corrosion was observed on main deck and poop deck. Main deck was spot blasted and painted with Nippon E-Marine A/C and Nippon U-Marine Finish. The Gloss of top coat is still intact and we did not have to attend any area painted during the drydock within last 4 months which is not the case for other coatings.
