MIRI, SARAWAK – Shin Yang Trading Sdn. Bhd., a premier industrial supply and logistics subsidiary of the Shin Yang Group of Companies, has finalised a distribution partnership with Nippon Paint Marine Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., strengthening coatings supply in East Malaysia. The strategic alliance establishes Shin Yang Trading Sdn. Bhd. as an authorised distribution partner for Nippon Paint Marine’s high-performance marine coating solutions across the region.
The agreement was officially signed by Alvin Yii, Head of Corporate Procurement/Sales of Shin Yang Trading Sdn. Bhd. and Ms. Gladys Goh, President of Nippon Paint Marine Coatings Co., Ltd. at a signing ceremony held at the Imperial Hotel in Miri.
Speaking at the ceremony, Alvin Yii highlighted the operational advantages of the partnership: “Through its extensive involvement in the industry, the group recognised the importance of proper vessel maintenance and protection against the challenging marine environment.
“Marine coatings play an important role in protecting vessels, extending their service life and maintaining their performance.
